E-Hawk Wellness and Equipment Project

The E-Hawk Wellness and Equipment Project has been started to replace 100% of the existing equipment in the E-Hawk Weight Room located at the high school.  The current facility has adequate space but the equipment is aging.

The E-Hawk Weight Room Project Committee is dedicated to the health and fitness of all of our students.  Weight lifting no longer focuses on one or two sports.  This enhanced facility will improve the fitness and health of any Emmetsburg student who chooses to use it.

The Emmetsburg community has taken tremendous pride in our young E-Hawks accomplishments over the years and this project continues to support their hard work and dedication to being the best that they can be and compete at the highest levels.  Fundraising efforts in the community and with E-Hawk alumni are starting and we have identified a need of $160,000 to fully fund the project.  We are hoping to accomplish this goal in 2012.

Please feel free to contact any committee members if you have questions.

Here is a Facebook page with lots of information.

BULLYING INFORMATION

E-mail Print PDF

In order to reduce bullying in our district and to make sure every student always feels safe, the district has published a resource page with information to help students deal with bullying and also a web page where bullying incidents may be reported.  The link to the bullying page can be found under the "Student Resources" menu on the bottom left menu of the main page.  You may also access the bullying resource page here.  In addition, you may report a bullying incident by clicking on the form available on the Bullying Information page or by clicking here.  Of course, you can always report a bullying incident in person to any teacher, counselor, principal or other school personnel; however, if you are not comfortable with that, you may use the online form.  Our goal is to eliminate bullying in all of our buildings.  By reporting bullying as soon as it happens, you can help us do that.

Please feel free to contact your building principal if you have any questions on bullying or any of the information that is presented.  Once again, you may find information on bullying here, and you may report bullying using this form.
